Online registration forms are now available to be filled out digitally.

Note: Please download the current registration forms and type in your information into the blue boxes before printing. 
Where signatures are required, they must be done by hand.

Printing: Where possible, please print forms double sided as Michelline must carry all of these documents with her in the class backpack AND it saves a tree.

RESERVE YOUR GENERAL REGISTRATION SPOT
March 5/23 @ 12PM

Opening Date and Time: March 5/23 @ 12:00pm
Closing Date and Time: Monday March 6/23 @ 12:00pm click on “RESERVE SPOT”  

  • Fill out the form – ONLY 1 CHILD PER FORM
  • Click on “Process Spot #”
  • You will then be directed to a confirmation page
  • An email with  a PDF will be sent to you with your #
  • Attend General Registration Night – Monday March 6 @ 6:30pm

  1. No confirmation page seen? Your spot reservation did not go through. Please try again.
  2. No email received, but the confirmation page was seen? Attend registration night and we will have a record of your spot.
GENERAL REGISTRATION NIGHT
March 6/23 @ 6:30PM
  • On Monday, March 6, 2023 at 6:30 PM, attend the general registration event in the Joseph Teres Library (131 Sanford Fleming Rd).
  • Registration will begin starting with spot #1.
  • You must submit a completed registration package and payment for the deposit and membership fee at this time.
  • If you are not present when your number is called, you will lose your spot in line and must wait until the end.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING NIGHT
April 27/22 @ 6:30PM

Date: Monday April 27/22
Time: 6:30pm-7:30pm
Where: Virtual Online Meeting via Teams

How to join the AGM

  1. Click on "Join Teams Annual General Meeting" and you will be let into the meeting

Original copies of background checks OR receipts for any family member that will be a class helper must be recieved by REFENS by the AGM.

You will be informed on how to fill out the helper calendar for your class, as well as, participate in nominations and voting for positions on the Board of Directors. If you are interested in being a Board Member please look through the parent handbook as it has information about each position.

Welcome to REFENS!

Our school has provided a gentle first step into our children's eduction for more than 40 years. REFENS was started by a group of local parents and remains a parent cooperative to this day.

Fundraising Events

REFENS is a non-profit organization therefore some of the money required to operate is acquired through fund raising events. Parents’ involvement in this area is essential to keeping our fees reasonable and allows us to cover the costs related to class outings throughout the year. New ideas and suggestions are always welcome.

Donations

Donations are always welcome! If you have toys, books, software, costumes/dress-up clothes and craft items (e.g. yarn, felt, fabric paint, etc.) that you no longer need, please check with the teacher to see if REFENS could put them to use.
